I am reading the Gospel of John currently. I am only to chapter 4, since I’m trying to slow down and really meditate on everything Christ does or says in the book. I happen to be a tangential thinker so the reference to light immediately took me to a recap of my adventure to the Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square on Thursday to see Bruce Munro’s Light Exhibit. Bruce uses these fiberoptic lights with glass or clear plastic or water (or all of the above) and places them throughout the gardens to create this landscape of a dream-like atmosphere.
It is effective, my iphone did not do it justice. here are some of my pictures and some from people with better cameras:
